Orcas Youth Conservation Corps

The Madrona Institute is working to establish the Orcas Youth Conservation Corps (OYCC) on Orcas Island this summer, a youth stewardship program modeled after the San Juan Island Conservation Corps and the Lopez Island Conservation Corps.  This program is also co-sponsored by the Stewardship Network of the San Juans. A program management team on Orcas has been established, start-up funding is being sought, and the program leaders for this summer’s OYCC program will be Marta Branch, Phil Branch, and RJ Myers.  For more information, contact Morgan Meadows at: morgan@VisionOnOrcas.com.
